Our Commitment to Integrity
Gainesville Regional Utilities Authority (GRUA) Board Members and GRU employees and representatives are committed to conducting business with the highest standards of ethics, transparency, and professionalism. All GRUA board members and GRU employees are expected to perform their duties in full compliance with the City’s Code of Ethical Standards and applicable Florida Statutes, including Chapter 112.
Employees and representatives may not hold any financial or personal interests, direct or indirect, that could conflict with their official responsibilities. Additionally, they must not engage in business transactions, professional activities, or obligations that could create the appearance of favoritism or undue influence.
Our goal is to ensure that every decision is made fairly, objectively, and in the best interests of the public. GRUA members, GRU employees and representatives are expected to act with honesty, accountability, and integrity, and to avoid any activity that could compromise public trust or confidence.
