How to Do Business with GRU
GRU Procurement uses OpenGov, a secure, public e-Procurement platform, to advertise and manage all solicitations. This platform ensures transparency and keeps vendors informed of current and future business opportunities.
Through OpenGov, vendors can:
- Register to bid and receive notifications of new opportunities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- View and follow active solicitations to receive automatic updates, amendments, and addenda
- Submit questions and receive official responses for open solicitations
- Prepare and submit electronic responses to bids, requests for proposals (RFPs), and other solicitations
- Access a single, centralized location for all GRU procurement opportunities
To get started, select Subscribe in the OpenGov portal to create an account. You will receive an email to activate your registration. If you do not see the email, please check your spam or junk folder.

Quotes Under $100,000
GRU also uses OpenGov for competitive quotes under $100,000. Registered vendors may submit quotes directly through the platform.
