- Utility connection charges are waived, which could save you up to $100 per rental unit.
- You don't have to wait until the next day to have your utility services turned back on.
- The meter will be read when your tenant cancels
service, and the account will be switched to your name automatically. For your protection, the service will not be switched automatically
if the utilities have been disconnected for non-payment.
- You will receive a courtesy notice when an account is switched to your name. The notice GRU sends may be
your first indication that your tenant is moving. This gives you a head start
on preparing for the next rental.
