LEEP Offers Help for Low-Income Customers

Applications available online, at GRU Administration Building, through mail

GRU is excited to announce the opening of GRU LEEP (Low-Income Energy Efficiency Program) which provides selected low-income households with funding to make energy efficiency repairs that will ultimately help lower utility bills and improve comfort.

All eligible households must submit an application and GRU will then work with selected participants to determine the improvements best suited to reduce the energy consumption at their home.

Selected participants will receive a voucher for repairs through a GRU LEEP contractor. The program is limited to 114 GRU residential electric customers who meet income requirements and own and occupy their home. Click here for complete eligibility requirements.

To apply, interested GRU customers should download an application, pick up an application in the lobby of the GRU Administration Building or call 393-1460 to request an application be mailed.
