Payment assistance program
Through voluntary donations from citizens and GRU customers, we assist the elderly, handicapped and those in financial hardship due to illness.
Get Help Paying Your Bill
- Call United Way of North Central Florida's 2-1-1 helpline
- You will be referred to one of the agencies that distribute Project Share funds: the Salvation Army, Catholic Charities or Gainesville Community Ministry
- Preference is given to those at least 60 years of age or those who are disabled and unable to be self-sufficient
Donate Money to Project Share
- Contribute monthly through your GRU bill
- Make a one-time donation by calling Customer Service
