All GRU.Net and Gator.Net residential Internet customers receive:

High speed Ethernet service to residents in the following communities: Destiny Condos, Countryside, Magnolia Grande, Magnolia Park, Monticello, Regents Park, Hillcrest, Plaza Royale, Hidden Lakes, Santa Fe Pointe, Kensington, Courtyards, Victoria Station, Oak Hammock and Cabana Beach. The service is delivered on GRUCom fiber to Ethernet switches located at the customer premises. Service is delivered to end user via CAT-5 cable to each unit.
Dial-up Internet access. Customer connects to GRU.Net, Gator.Net, or SFCC.Net via a modem. Transmission rates up to 56 Kbps. Service is accelerated using Propel Accelerator, which is designed to increase service delivery by compression, caching, persistent connections and optional content filtering. Acceleration typically loads web pages an average of three to five times faster than normal dial-up. Since GRUCom owns and manages its own phone switch, customers will not experience busy signals or service outages.
Delivered as a dual dial-up service. Transmission rate is 128 Kbps.
Email account established for customer. Customers must access account via their own Internet provider.
