We have established a Minority and Small Business Program to identify commercial enterprises that have the potential to provide needed services and commodities for our utility operations.
Each year the Utilities Purchasing Division is involved in a number of outreach activities with Minority and Small Businesses. Vendors and GRU employees use this time to network and build strong relationships in order to establish strategic business practices for our mutual benefit and for the good of the community.
The GRU MBE/SBE program provides free assistance to all qualified businesses that are interested in doing business with us. Please contact our Purchasing Department to learn more about this program.
