Biomass
The biomass used in the new 100 megawatt plant will come from the leftover waste wood of timber harvesting operations and other indirect sources such as urban vegetation management. The environmental advantage of waste wood biomass is that it is carbon neutral. The plant is expected to be online by 2013.
