GRU invests in new and clean technology such as environmentally-friendly vehicles to demonstrate ways to help protect the environment. These vehicles create fewer air emissions because they utilize electric power in conjunction with — or to replace— traditional fuel.
Through demonstrations at schools, civic organizations and special events, GRU educates the public about the benefits of environmentally-friendly vehicles. These vehicles are also used on customers' visits.
