GRU supports efforts to enhance quality of life in our community

GRU partners with other organizations by sponsoring events that address the diverse needs and interests of residents in our community. We receive far more requests for event sponsorships than our dollars will allow. We developed these guidelines to direct our decisions and maximize our reach in the community.

Number of people reached per dollar invested
Alignment with GRU’s community relations goals

Guidelines

Please allow 4-6 weeks for us to process your application
Event sponsorships are budgeted one year in advance. Sponsorship requests for events occurring during the current fiscal year (October 1-September 30) will not be funded. If the event is an annual event, it will be considered during the budget planning process for the subsequent fiscal year
