Adopt-a-School
A special program for a very special group of children
Williams Elementary School has been our Adopt-a-School since 1997. Williams is a high-needs school located in Southeast Gainesville. Our employees serve as tutors and mentors to the students throughout the school year. We also help with the following events and activities:
- Junior Achievement Program
- Lunch Buddy Program
- Annual Williams Carnival
- Graduation
- Field Trips
- Safety Patrol Fundraising for Students' Trips to Washington, D.C.
- Teacher Appreciation Week
- School Supplies
- Food Baskets for Thanksgiving
- Annual Benefit Golf Tournament - Fundraiser for Williams Elementary which raised more than $16,000 in 2007!
Williams Elementary, as well as other Alachua County public schools K-12, also benefit from our Mini-Grants Program and through donations of surplus computers.
