GRU’s New Payment Locations
New locations are distributed throughout GRU’s service area
Twenty-one new hassle-free payment locations are now operating throughout GRU’s service territory, and even more may soon be available. This means that in addition to the option of paying from home at www.gru.com, most GRU customers are now within a very short distance of a convenient place to quickly pay their bill.
This new service is administered by Fidelity Express, which charges one dollar for each transaction. However, eliminating a round trip to GRU’s downtown Administration Building can help customers save gas.
Customers must have their GRU bill and/or account number when making a payment and authorized payment locations will credit the payment to the account within minutes. GRU is now accepting payments at these locations in the following areas:
- Northeast Gainesville: 8th Avenue Food Store, Shreeji Gas & Deli, Sunrise Food Mart, X-tra Beverage Discount, Stop N’ Go
- Arredondo area: Sunrise Food Mart
- University area: Pat’s Kwik Stop, Gator Spirit Food Store, Kwik Stop Texaco, Sunshine Express
- Turkey Creek area: Express Lane
- Northwood area: Pat’s Kwik Stop
- Northwest Gainesville: Shriji & HR Mini Mart, Alachua Chevron, Island Food Store, BP Gas Station
- Lincoln Estates area: Gainesville Food Store
- Southwest Gainesville: Gator Convenience, Williston BP
- Southeast Gainesville: Everyday Kwik Stop, Sunstore
Payments at these locations should be made by 7:00 PM to be credited on the same business day. Here is a complete listing of participating store addresses and hours.
