Bobby Burk and his family will demonstrate how energy upgrades can lower bills
Congratulations to Bobby Burk and family for winning the GRU & WCJB TV 20 Home Energy Makeover contest sponsored by Mid-Fla Heating & Air!
After being one of four finalists, Gainesville voted and Bobby Burk was determined the winner Friday, February 1. The Burk household—composed of Bobby Burk, Jr., his wife Karen and their two children—will receive up to $100,000 in home energy upgrades to be installed by the end of February.
The goal of the Home Energy Makeover contest is to increase awareness about GRU’s Home Performance with ENERGY STAR ® program, which encourages multiple energy efficiency upgrades at a time. This “whole-house” approach can save up to 30 percent of your energy usage.
